Here’s Kristin

Kristin’s sales, marketing, advertising, and PR career spans three decades—

time spent leading high-performing creative, account, and strategy teams, and creating communities via live events, influencers, and multiple marcomm channels. She’s guided startups, agencies, mid-size enterprises, and Fortune 100 companies through dramatic change and growth.

She’s worked agency-side, brand-side, and as a consultant to deliver integrated communications for some of the big B2B and B2C brands around, including Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Toyota, Nestlé, Nike, Susan G. Komen, Oregon Health & Science University, Sony, and Revlon.

And unless you’ve gotten an unedited email from her, you’d never know: Kristin the communications professional is quite dyslexic. She didn’t learn to read until late in the game. The secret? There’s no secret. Just gritty that way. Force of nature.

Kristin’s top personal priority is family, as modeled by the Italian grandmother who taught her to make the traditional pasta sauce ladled out every Sunday at the big table. As an adult, Kristin would share jars of the sauce with family and friends who couldn’t make it to the table—her way of sharing love, really.

In time, these jars became sought-after commodities; a certain something made them different, and people wanted to know the story behind them (not to mention how to get more. Always, from the first timers: How do I get more?)

Then came the 2020 lockdowns, and the long spans of quiet time that gave everyone time to reflect on what they wanted life to be like on the other side. For Kristin, the answer wasn’t complicated: time to share her story. Time to add more seats at the table. Better yet: help others set their own tables— but with less time and effort.

On New Year’s Day in 2021, Kristin launched a brand that has been at least one lifetime in the making: Saucy.
